Day of Social and Environmental Impact: a day with AMADIBA on board the Galaxie

On April 8, we will go out to sea again aboard the sailboat Galaxie, this time with the AMADIBA school group, in a day full of creativity, learning and gaudi. Within the framework of the Social and Environmental Impact Days promoted by Marina Eivissa, we experienced a day of deep connection with the Mediterranean and its natural environment.

From the beginning, the group showed a lively curiosity about everything around them: the sky, the sea, the candles, the birds. The crossing was calm and bright, ideal for observing the seascape, identifying species and learning from direct experience.

Throughout the morning, the young people spent time drawing what they saw, depicting fish, seagulls, boats, waves... Each stroke was a way of relating to the sea, of looking at it carefully, of making it their own. With the support of cards and posters, the artistic activity also became an opportunity to learn about marine fauna.

The smiles were constant. There were moments of conversation, shared observation, and many gestures that showed that they were really having a good time. The Galaxie team, with their usual sensitivity and care, knew how to guide the day with a balance between education and enjoyment.

We would like to thank the captain of the Galaxie from the bottom of our hearts for his closeness and ability to connect with each person on board. And a very special recognition to the educators @laurinchi00 and @lidiaestevezmolina, who accompanied this day with dedication, tenderness and an attentive look that made the experience even richer for everyone.

Because sailing is also drawing, listening, feeling and learning. And when all this happens in the Mediterranean, with shared joy, it becomes something that leaves a mark.
